FUNDRAISING OPPORTUNITY
The Christina Rush Foundation was created in memory
of Chrissy Ruane Rush. Chrissy, who lived her entire life in Atlantic City, NJ, had her life cut short by ovarian cancer in May, 2000. She was only 38 years old. Chrissy left behind a husband, Joe, and two daughters, Katie, age 4 and Erin, age 2.
Her friends and family, through the foundation, are keeping her positive and fighting spirit alive by providing financial aid to women from Atlantic and
Cape May counties in NJ who are suffering from cancer.
Beginning in September, 2001, the Foundation has hosted an annual “Angel Night”, their sole fundraiser. Jane has participated in each event by creating the angel pin which is sold at the event—a unique design for the exclusive use of the foundation.
To date, the foundation has helped local area women by paying more than $200,000 in medical bills for them.
